Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Cross Time ("we," "our," or "the app") is a screen time and focus app that helps you block apps and websites, track focus time and streaks, and unlock rewards. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Cross Time, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account and identity. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive from the authentication provider: a unique user ID, and optionally your email and display name. We use this to create or identify your account and to sync your progress across devices.
Progress and usage data we store. To provide sync and restore across devices and reinstalls, we store:
- Profile: display name, total focus time, current and longest streak, last focus date, streak history
- Rewards: which achievement rewards you have unlocked and your selected reward
- Verse cards: which cards you own and your study progress (e.g. slide index per card)
- Profile image: if you upload a custom photo, we store the image and metadata (e.g. URL) on our servers
Device and app info. When you first sign in, we may receive app version, device model, and platform (e.g. iOS) to support your account and troubleshoot issues.
3. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not see which specific apps or websites you use or open. Blocking is done by Apple’s Screen Time / Family Controls on your device; we only send the list of apps/categories/domains you chose to block so that our system can enforce it. We do not receive a log of your activity.
- We do not collect what you type (passwords, messages, or other keystrokes).
- We do not send your detailed Screen Time usage (e.g. per-app usage history) to our servers. The in-app Screen Time report is built from data that stays on your device; we only display it.
- Your block lists and schedule definitions (which apps/sites to block and when) are stored only on your device and are not sent to our servers.
- Onboarding answers (e.g. goals, preferences) are used only on your device and are not sent to our backend.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information above to:
